Based in Hartlepool, Pool Spas extensive expertise allows us to provide a range of carefully selected spas, whirlpool baths swimspas, hot tubs, saunas and gazebos to our customers in the Teesside, the North East of England and the rest of the UK.

The success of our company has allowed Pool Spas to provide our support to local charities and good causes by offering our time, technology and expertise to help these organisations to achieve their aims.

Our people make a difference too. Volunteering is part of our culture and when our people volunteer, they tell us it makes them feel proud to work for us. We’ve also teamed up with other businesses and charities as well to encourage more organisations to share their skills.

Miles for Men

Miles for Men & Walk For Women is a North East charity, based in Hartlepool, dedicated to raising funds for those affected by cancer both within the local community and nationally.

To date the charity has raised well in excess of £300,000, with more than £130,000 sent to Cancer Research UK and well over £15,000 to Hartlepool Hospice, due to the overwhelming support of the charity around the country.

​The notion of Miles for Men started in April 2012 when Michael Day Jnr was talking about his late father, Michael Day Snr, who sadly lost his battle with throat cancer in 2007 aged 67. Michael wanted to do something in memory of his father and suggested a sponsored run for men.

​After 5 months of overwhelming support, organisation and many a late night… Miles for Men was born. The 5km run continues to be a successful annual event, but is now backed by hundreds of other smaller events and fundraising activities.

Billingham Town FC

Billingham Town Football Club is a football club based in Billingham, NE England. They are currently members of the Northern League Division One having been promoted during the 2018/2019 season and play at the Bedford Terrace ground.

Located in one of the most deprived areas of the country, Billingham Town FC is a grassroots club offering an important stepping stone and opportunities for young players looking to further their career in football and acts as a key part of a players’ development

Several players who had their start at Billingham Town went on to have careers in the full time game but pride of place must go to Gary Pallister, who went on to win almost every honour in the game. He joined Middlesbrough in November 1984 from Billingham Town and went on to play 189 games for them.

In August 1989 Gary was sold to Manchester United for £2.3m and over the next nine years, along with Steve Bruce, formed a vital part of the United side that won virtually everything in the game.
